Our founding desire
“I want to create ways for people to visit places in Japan that is beyond just tourist destinations.”
As I travel across Japan for work, I often come across wonderful things unique to each region. Every time I discover these hidden gems, I feel a growing desire to share them with others. What may seem ordinary to the locals can be a surprising treasure for those from outside the area. However, since I encounter these by chance through my job, I realize that it is often difficult for people to visit non-touristic areas on their own.
By combining wellness-focused experiences unique to each region, I aim to create a new kind of travel in Japan—one centered around health, healing, and the concepts of “Wellness” and “Retreat.” Through this approach, I hope to offer travelers a deeper, more rejuvenating way to explore Japan that is beyond traditional tourism.
Having experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, people around the world have changed the way on how they think about health. As the world’s longest-living nation, Japan is rich in wellness-related assets, from hot springs and abundant nature, to Zen philosophy and traditional cuisine. I am confident that Japan has definitely the potential to become a leading global destination not just for tourism but also for wellness.
“Health” × “Tourism” × “Regional Revitalization” = “A Japan Full of Hidden Charms that is yet to discover!“
This is the future we aspire to create.
Not only for the moment, but we also aim to continue contributing to sustainable community development.
